Davide Comaschi is a Milanese pastry chef and maître chocolatier whose journey in the world of pastry began in Milan in 1980. Chocolate soon became the focus of his professional research, becoming the raw material that most represents his style and creative vision. Between 2006 and 2016, he consolidated his experience through laboratory work, participation in competitions, and engagement with international organizations.
In 2010, he joined AMPI – Academy of Italian Master Pastry Chefs and in 2011, he won the silver medal at the Coupe du Monde in Lyon. In 2013, he achieved one of the most significant milestones of his career by winning the World Chocolate Masters in Paris, after two years of intense work and preparation.
In 2014 and 2015, he was named Pastry Chef of the Year by the Italian Master Pastry Chefs. In 2016, he became the brand ambassador for the Salon du Chocolat in Milan and took over the direction of the Chocolate Academy Center Milan, the first Italian school dedicated to chocolate for professionals. In 2017, he also joined the scientific committee of ALMA, the International School of Italian Cuisine.
In 2018, he achieved the Guinness World Record for “The Largest Panettone”, while in 2019, he became the Global Innovation Creative Leader for Callebaut in Belgium and opened his own retail outlets in prestigious locations. In 2020, he received the title of Maestro d’Arte e Mestiere (MAM), an award that recognizes his ability to combine tradition, innovation, technique, and design.
