Davide Pisano is an Italian pastry chef born in Como in 1985, with solid experience in the world of pastry, gelato, and cuisine. His training began at the De Filippi hotel school in Varese, where he learned the fundamentals of cuisine and pastry, combining his studies with practical experience in prestigious restaurants and hotels. His passion for sweets grew thanks to his encounter with master Agostino Patti, an important figure in his professional journey.
In 2007 he opened his first laboratory in Venegono Superiore, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial career. In 2010 he expanded the business with La Pasticceria di Davide, a retail location with a larger laboratory, capable of offering a wide range of high-quality confectionery products. In 2013, together with his wife Erica, he founded Erica Catering, a division dedicated to events and catering.
Over the years he has continued to refine his skills through professional courses at leading schools and academies, deepening his knowledge of modern pastry, chocolate work, artistic sugar, leavened products, pralines, and decoration. Alongside his laboratory work, he also dedicates himself to consulting and training, collaborating with artisan laboratories and gelato shops and serving as a technical demonstrator for companies such as GELITA/BRAVO and FIREX.
His journey has been enriched by important recognitions: in 2016 he obtained the bronze medal at the national competition The Ultimate Chococake Award, in 2018 he won the bronze medal at the World Pastry Championship Patissiers dans le Monde, and in 2020 he won the gold medal at the international competition The Star of Sugar at Sigep.
Author of the books Pausa Pranzo and Dolce la vita con Davide Pisano, today he continues his journey with enthusiasm, combining artisan production, consulting, training, and technical research. His experience is distinguished by the ability to combine creativity, practical expertise, and innovation in the world of pastry and gelato.
