Velo Dolce is Lesepidado’s READY TO PRINT inkjet food printing system, designed for the Food & Bakery sector. The machine allows for direct printing on food products and the customization of pastry packaging with images, logos, photographs, and other graphic content.
Thanks to Single Pass inkjet technology, Velo Dolce allows for high-speed operation, reaching a resolution of up to 1200×1200 DPI. The system can print on products and substrates of different thicknesses, up to a maximum height of 15 cm.
The conveyor belt reaches a maximum speed of 20 meters per minute, while the Bulk Ink system allows for handling prolonged production runs and high volumes, reducing interruptions for ink refilling and keeping the printing cost per product low.
Available in various configurations, Velo Dolce can be adapted to specific production needs and the required printing definition.
The inks used by Velo Dolce are developed and produced by Lesepidado, based on the experience gained in applying inkjet technology to the food sector.
The water-based formulations are designed to ensure good print yield and low costs even during prolonged production runs.
Different types of ink are available depending on the application and the target market, including azo, azo-free formulations, FDA-compliant, dedicated to Middle Eastern markets, for cosmetic applications, and other customized solutions.
